Old Testament
Chesed
Chesed was one of the eight sons born to Nahor, the brother of Abraham, and his wife Milcah.
Chesed is listed in the genealogy of Nahor in Genesis 22:22. As a son of Abraham's brother, he represents a branch of the family tree that remained in Aram-Naharaim. His inclusion serves to document the expansion of Nahor's household, which later provided the family connections for Isaac and Jacob's marriages.
