Privacy Policy

You can read the Bible in SwordBible without creating an account. When you use the app, we may store app preferences, reading position, downloaded resources, and similar settings on your device.

If you create an account, we collect account information such as your email address, name when provided by your sign-in provider, authentication provider identifiers, and a SwordBible user ID.

If you use sync, AI study, notes, highlights, reading plans, or chat history, we collect the content needed to provide those features. This may include Bible highlights, notes, reading progress, AI prompts and responses, custom instructions, and saved conversations.

If you enable push notifications, we collect a device push token and notification preferences so we can deliver reminders and service messages.

If you purchase Pro, payment processing is handled by Apple for App Store purchases or by Stripe for eligible web checkout purchases. We store subscription and entitlement status so the app can unlock paid features.

If you contact support, we collect the information you send us, such as your email address, support request, screenshots, and troubleshooting details.

We use information to run SwordBible, sync your content, restore purchases, provide AI study features, deliver push notifications you enable, respond to support requests, protect the service, and improve reliability.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for third-party advertising tracking.

When you ask AI study questions, SwordBible sends your prompt and relevant Scripture context to our backend so a response can be generated. AI responses may be generated using third-party model providers. Do not include information in AI prompts that you do not want processed for this purpose.

We use service providers to operate SwordBible, including hosting, backend data storage and sync, AI processing, payment processing, file storage, authentication, app distribution, and customer support. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to us.

We keep account and synced study data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. Local data can be removed by deleting the app from your device.

To request deletion of your SwordBible account data, email privacy@swordbible.ai from the email address on your account. Deleting your SwordBible account does not automatically cancel an active App Store subscription.

SwordBible is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet service can guarantee perfect security, but we work to keep account, sync, and payment-related systems protected.

SwordBible is operated from the United States. If you use the service from another country, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our providers operate.

We may update this policy as SwordBible changes. If we make a material change, we will update the effective date and provide notice where appropriate.
