Haggai
A post-exilic prophet who urged the returned exiles to prioritize rebuilding the temple of the Lord.
Haggai was a prophet sent to encourage Zerubbabel and Joshua to complete the temple construction after work had stalled. His message emphasized that the people's neglect of God's house led to their economic hardship and spiritual apathy. He is significant for his call to prioritize divine worship over personal comfort, promising that the glory of the latter house would exceed the former.
