Old Testament
Haggi
A son of Gad and grandson of Jacob, he is the ancestral head of the Haggite clan within the tribe of Gad.
Haggi is identified in the genealogies of Genesis 46 and Numbers 26 as one of the seven sons of Gad. As a grandson of Jacob, he represents one of the foundational family lines that developed into the tribe of Gad during the Israelite sojourn in Egypt. His inclusion in the census records underscores the preservation of the patriarchal lineages as the Israelites prepared to enter the Promised Land.
