Old Testament
Jahleel
A son of Zebulun and grandson of Jacob, he was the progenitor of the Jahleelite clan.
Jahleel is identified in the genealogies of Genesis and Numbers as the third son of Zebulun. He is significant as the ancestor of the Jahleelite clan, one of the family divisions of the tribe of Zebulun that was counted during the census in the wilderness. His inclusion in these records serves to document the expansion of Jacob's descendants into the twelve tribes of Israel.
