Old Testament
Jehizkiah
One of the heads of the Ephraimites who opposed the enslavement of captives from Judah.
Jehizkiah was a leader of the tribe of Ephraim during the reign of King Pekah of Israel. He is noted for standing with other tribal heads to protest the prophet Oded's warning against keeping captives from Judah as slaves. His actions reflect a moment of obedience to the word of the Lord, resulting in the release of the prisoners.
