Old Testament
Judith
A Hittite woman who became one of Esau's wives, causing grief to his parents Isaac and Rebekah.
Judith, also known as Oholibamah in some genealogical accounts, was the daughter of Beeri the Hittite. Her marriage to Esau is noted in Genesis as a source of significant bitterness for Isaac and Rebekah. She represents the departure of Esau from the covenant line through his choice of foreign wives.
