Old Testament
Memucan
One of the seven princes of Persia and Media who advised King Ahasuerus regarding Queen Vashti.
Memucan was a high-ranking official and wise counselor to King Ahasuerus. He is significant for proposing that Queen Vashti be deposed for her disobedience, fearing her actions would incite widespread insubordination among the women of the empire. His counsel directly influenced the king's decree and set the stage for Esther's eventual rise to the throne.
