Old Testament
Amok
A priestly family head who returned from the Babylonian exile with Zerubbabel and Jeshua.
Amok was a leading priest during the return of the Jewish exiles to Jerusalem. His name is recorded in the genealogical lists of Nehemiah 12, documenting the priestly divisions serving under the high priest Joiakim. His inclusion confirms the restoration of the temple ministry following the captivity.
