Old Testament
Eran
Eran was a descendant of Ephraim and the ancestral head of the Eranite clan in Israel.
Eran is identified in Numbers 26:36 as a son of Shuthelah and a grandson of Ephraim. He is listed as the progenitor of the Eranite clan, one of the family groups within the tribe of Ephraim recorded during the second census of Israel in the wilderness. His inclusion serves to document the genealogical structure and tribal expansion of the Israelites before entering the Promised Land.
