Old Testament
Evi
One of the five Midianite kings killed by the Israelites during the conquest of Midian.
Evi was a king of Midian who was defeated and executed by the Israelites under Moses' command in Numbers 31. His death is recorded as part of the divine judgment against Midian for their role in leading Israel into idolatry at Peor. He is later mentioned in Joshua 13:21 as one of the vassal kings of Sihon the Amorite who ruled over the region east of the Jordan.
