Isaiah

A major prophet of Judah who declared God's judgment and the promise of the coming Messiah.

Isaiah son of Amoz served as a prophet in Jerusalem during the reigns of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah. His ministry focused on calling Judah to repentance while foretelling the exile and the future restoration of Israel through the Suffering Servant. He is frequently quoted in the New Testament as a primary witness to the identity and mission of Jesus Christ.
