Old Testament
Machi
A man from the tribe of Gad chosen to scout the land of Canaan for Moses.
Machi was the father of Geuel, the representative from the tribe of Gad selected to spy out the land of Canaan. He is mentioned only in the genealogical record of the twelve scouts sent by Moses from the Wilderness of Paran. His inclusion serves to document the tribal representation of the reconnaissance mission.
