Old Testament
Nemuel
A descendant of Simeon listed in the census of the Israelites taken on the plains of Moab.
Nemuel is identified in Numbers 26:12 as a son of Simeon and the head of the Nemuelite clan. He represents one of the ancestral lines of the tribe of Simeon during the second census conducted by Moses and Eleazar. His inclusion serves to document the genealogical structure of the tribe as they prepared to enter the Promised Land.
