Old Testament
Parnach
A leader of the tribe of Zebulun appointed to help divide the land of Canaan among the tribes.
Parnach was the father of Elizaphan, who served as a tribal leader for the tribe of Zebulun. He is mentioned in Numbers 34:25 as the ancestor of the man chosen by God to assist in the inheritance of the Promised Land. His inclusion in the text serves to identify the lineage and tribal representation of those tasked with the division of Canaan.
