Old Testament
Shobi
An Ammonite who provided essential supplies to King David during Absalom's rebellion.
Shobi, the son of Nahash from Rabbah of the Ammonites, demonstrated loyalty to David by bringing food and bedding to the king and his men at Mahanaim. His support during David's flight from Absalom highlights the unexpected alliances formed during the rebellion. He is mentioned only in 2 Samuel 17:27 as one of the key figures who sustained David's forces in their time of need.
