Uzai
A builder who assisted in the reconstruction of the wall of Jerusalem under Nehemiah's leadership.
Uzai is mentioned in Nehemiah 3:25 as one of the laborers who repaired a section of the wall of Jerusalem near the Tower of the King. His inclusion in the text serves to document the collective effort of the Jewish remnant to restore the city's defenses. He is known only through this specific contribution to the post-exilic rebuilding project.
