Old Testament
Abdiel
A descendant of Gad mentioned in the genealogical records of the tribe of Gad in 1 Chronicles.
Abdiel is identified in 1 Chronicles 5:15 as a son of Guni and a descendant of Gad. He appears solely within the genealogical register of the Gadites who settled in the land of Gilead. His inclusion serves to document the lineage and tribal heritage of the Gadites during the period of Jotham, king of Judah.
