Baaseiah
A Levite of the Kohathite line and a descendant of Gershom listed in the genealogy of the temple musicians.
Baaseiah is identified in 1 Chronicles 6:40 as a descendant of Gershom, son of Levi. He serves as a link in the genealogical record of the Levitical line, specifically within the lineage associated with the service of the tabernacle and temple. His inclusion highlights the importance of priestly and Levitical succession in maintaining the order of worship in Israel.
