Old Testament
Barachel
Barachel the Buzite is identified in the Book of Job as the father of Elihu.
Barachel is mentioned only as the father of Elihu, who speaks to Job and his three friends in the latter chapters of the book. His name, meaning God has blessed, identifies his son's lineage as a descendant of Buz, a nephew of Abraham. He serves as a genealogical marker to establish the identity and background of Elihu.
