Old Testament
Bealiah
A Benjamite warrior who joined David at Ziklag to support his rise to the throne.
Bealiah was one of the mighty men of Benjamin who defected from Saul to join David while he was restricted from service due to Saul. His inclusion in the list of warriors in 1 Chronicles 12 highlights the diverse support David received from the tribes of Israel. He represents the transition of loyalty toward the divinely appointed king.
