Beerah
A leader of the tribe of Reuben who was taken into exile by Tiglath-Pileser III of Assyria.
Beerah was a prince of the Reubenites mentioned in the genealogical records of 1 Chronicles. He is noted specifically as a leader whom the king of Assyria carried away into captivity. His inclusion serves to document the lineage and eventual displacement of the tribe of Reuben.
