Old Testament
Bukkiah
A son of Heman who served as a musician in the temple service under King David.
Bukkiah was one of the fourteen sons of Heman, the king's seer, appointed by David to lead the temple music ministry. He was assigned by lot to the sixth division of musicians, serving in the sanctuary to praise God with instruments. His inclusion in the genealogical records highlights the organized structure of the Levitical service established for the house of the Lord.
