Cain
The firstborn son of Adam and Eve who committed the first recorded murder by killing his brother Abel.
Cain was the first human born, a tiller of the ground who offered an unacceptable sacrifice to God. After murdering his brother Abel out of jealousy, he was cursed by God and became a wanderer. His life serves as a sobering biblical example of the consequences of sin and the rejection of God's way.
