Korah
A Levite who led a rebellion against Moses and Aaron, resulting in divine judgment.
Korah was a descendant of Kohath who challenged the authority of Moses and Aaron in the wilderness. He led a group of 250 leaders in a failed insurrection, which resulted in the earth opening to swallow him and his followers. Scripture later uses his rebellion as a warning against those who reject God-ordained leadership and authority.
