Old Testament
Chilion
The son of Elimelech and Naomi who married Orpah before dying in Moab.
Chilion was an Ephrathite from Bethlehem who moved to Moab with his family during a famine. He married a Moabite woman named Orpah but died prematurely without leaving any children. His death, along with his father's and brother's, left Naomi widowed and childless, setting the stage for Ruth's return to Bethlehem.
