Old Testament
Eker
A descendant of Judah through Jerahmeel, listed in the genealogical records of 1 Chronicles.
Eker is identified in 1 Chronicles 2:27 as a son of Ram, who was the firstborn of Jerahmeel. He appears solely within the genealogical lists of the tribe of Judah, serving to document the ancestral lineage of the house of Jerahmeel. His inclusion underscores the meticulous record-keeping of the Chronicler regarding the tribal structure of Israel.
