Giddel

A family of temple servants who returned from the Babylonian exile with Zerubbabel.

Giddel refers to a family line of Nethinim, or temple servants, listed among those who returned to Jerusalem from Babylonian captivity. Their inclusion in the census records of Ezra and Nehemiah highlights the restoration of temple service and the preservation of ancestral lineages within the post-exilic community.
