Old Testament
Hanoch
A son of Midian and grandson of Abraham through Keturah, listed among the heads of Midianite clans.
Hanoch is identified in the genealogies of Genesis 25 and 1 Chronicles 5 as one of the sons of Midian. As a descendant of Abraham and Keturah, he represents one of the ancestral lines of the Midianite people. His inclusion serves to document the expansion of Abraham's family beyond the line of the promise through Isaac.
