Old Testament
Hori
A Horite descendant of Seir mentioned in the genealogies of Edom.
Hori is identified in Genesis 36 and 1 Chronicles 1 as a son of Lotan and a grandson of Seir the Horite. The Horites were the original inhabitants of Mount Seir before being displaced by the descendants of Esau. His inclusion in the biblical record serves to document the ancestral lineage of the Edomite clans.
