Old Testament
Hushim
A son of Dan who migrated to Egypt with Jacob and became a patriarch of the tribe of Dan.
Hushim, also identified as Shuham in Numbers 26:42, was the son of Dan and grandson of Jacob. He is recorded in the genealogical lists of the tribes of Israel as the progenitor of the Shuhamite clan. His inclusion in the records confirms the preservation of the tribal lineage during the sojourn in Egypt.
