Old Testament
Jahzerah
A priest of the post-exilic period who served in the Jerusalem temple.
Jahzerah is identified in 1 Chronicles 9:12 as a priest and a descendant of Immer. He is listed among the heads of the priestly families who returned to Jerusalem after the Babylonian exile to resume temple service. His inclusion in the genealogical records underscores the restoration of the Levitical order and the continuity of Israel's worship.
