Old Testament
Jemuel
Jemuel was a son of Simeon and a grandson of Jacob, listed among the descendants who migrated to Egypt.
Jemuel is identified in the genealogies of Genesis 46, Exodus 6, and 1 Chronicles 4 as the firstborn son of Simeon. He represents one of the ancestral heads of the clans within the tribe of Simeon. His inclusion in these lists serves to document the expansion of Jacob's household and the preservation of the tribal lineages during the sojourn in Egypt.
