Old Testament
Jesher
A son of Caleb and Azubah mentioned in the genealogical records of the tribe of Judah.
Jesher is identified in 1 Chronicles 2:18 as one of the sons born to Caleb, the son of Hezron, and his wife Azubah. He appears solely within the genealogical lists of the tribe of Judah, serving to document the lineage of the house of Caleb. His inclusion underscores the importance of ancestral record-keeping in establishing tribal identity and inheritance within Israel.
