Old Testament
Jochebed
The mother of Moses, Aaron, and Miriam who hid her infant son to save him from Pharaoh's decree.
Jochebed was a daughter of Levi who married Amram and became the mother of Israel's key leaders during the Exodus. She demonstrated profound faith by placing the infant Moses in a basket on the Nile, ultimately ensuring his survival and upbringing in Pharaoh's palace. Her actions were instrumental in preserving the life of the deliverer God would use to lead His people out of Egypt.
