Mahli
A Levite of the Merari clan who served as a key ancestor of the priestly families in Israel.
Mahli was a son of Merari and a grandson of Levi, serving as a foundational patriarch for the Merarite Levites. His descendants were tasked with the care and transport of the tabernacle's structural components during the wilderness journey. The lineage of Mahli remained significant through the post-exilic period, as evidenced by his descendants serving in the temple during the time of Ezra.
