Old Testament
Joshbekashah
A Levite musician and son of Heman who served in the temple worship under King David.
Joshbekashah was one of the fourteen sons of Heman, the king's seer, appointed to lead temple music. He was assigned by lot to the eighteenth division of the temple musicians to prophesy with harps, lyres, and cymbals. His service reflects the organized structure of Levite ministry established during David's reign.
