Old Testament
Laish
The man from Gallim to whom King Saul gave his daughter Michal in marriage after David fled.
Laish, the son of Laish, is identified in the biblical text as the husband of Michal, King Saul's daughter. Saul gave Michal to him after David was forced into exile, effectively annulling David's marriage to her. He is mentioned briefly in 1 Samuel 25:44 and 2 Samuel 3:15, marking the political maneuvering of Saul regarding his royal household.
