Old Testament
Malluch
A post-exilic Israelite who repented of intermarriage and served as a priest in Jerusalem.
Malluch is identified in Ezra 10:29 as one of the men who put away their foreign wives following the reforms of Ezra. Later, in Nehemiah 10:4 and 12:2, he is listed among the priests who sealed the covenant and returned with Zerubbabel. The name also appears in the priestly genealogy of the days of Joiakim, representing a significant figure in the restoration of the temple service.
