Old Testament
Mishmannah
A Gadite warrior who joined David at Ziklag to support his rise to the throne of Israel.
Mishmannah was one of the mighty men from the tribe of Gad who defected to David while he was hiding from Saul. He is listed among the elite soldiers whose faces were like the faces of lions and who were as swift as gazelles upon the mountains. His inclusion in the record highlights the diverse tribal support David received during his transition to kingship.
