Nekoda

A family of temple servants who returned from the Babylonian exile with Zerubbabel.

Nekoda refers to a family group of Nethinim, or temple servants, listed among those who returned to Jerusalem from Babylonian captivity. Their inclusion in the genealogical records of Ezra and Nehemiah serves to document the restoration of temple service roles after the exile. The name appears solely in the census lists of the returning exiles.
