Old Testament
Neziah
A head of a family of temple servants who returned from the Babylonian exile with Zerubbabel.
Neziah is listed among the Nethinim, the temple servants who returned to Jerusalem from captivity in Babylon. His name appears in the genealogical records of Ezra and Nehemiah, which document the families that resettled the land. These lists serve as a historical record of the faithful remnant preserved by God to restore temple service.
