Old Testament
Paseah
A descendant of Judah and a leader of a family of temple servants who returned from the Babylonian exile.
Paseah is identified in 1 Chronicles 4:12 as a descendant of Judah through the line of Eshton. Later, the name appears in the lists of Nethinim, or temple servants, who returned to Jerusalem with Zerubbabel in Ezra 2:49 and Nehemiah 7:51. These records highlight the restoration of temple service roles following the return from captivity.
