Old Testament
Peruda
A descendant of Solomon's servants who returned from the Babylonian exile with Zerubbabel.
Peruda is listed among the descendants of Solomon's servants in the genealogical records of those who returned to Jerusalem from Babylonian captivity. His name appears in the census lists found in both Ezra 2:55 and Nehemiah 7:57. These records serve to validate the identity and heritage of the returning exiles as they sought to reestablish the community in the land.
