Old Testament
Purah
Gideon's servant who accompanied him to spy on the Midianite camp before the battle.
Purah served as the personal attendant to Gideon during the campaign against the Midianites. He is mentioned only in Judges 7:10-11, where he accompanied Gideon to the edge of the enemy camp to overhear a dream that confirmed God's promise of victory. His presence provided the necessary witness for Gideon to gain the confidence to proceed with his tactical plan.
