Old Testament
Sheariah
A descendant of King Saul and a member of the tribe of Benjamin listed in the genealogies of 1 Chronicles.
Sheariah is identified as a son of Azel and a descendant of King Saul through the line of Jonathan. His inclusion in the genealogical records of 1 Chronicles 8 and 9 serves to preserve the lineage of the Benjamite clan following the return from the Babylonian exile. He represents the continuity of the house of Saul within the broader historical record of Israel.
