Terah
The father of Abraham, Nahor, and Haran who migrated from Ur of the Chaldeans toward Canaan.
Terah was a descendant of Shem and the patriarch through whom the lineage of Abraham is traced. He initiated the family's migration from Ur to Haran, where he settled and eventually died at the age of 205. His life serves as the historical bridge between the post-Flood generations and the calling of Abraham.
