Old Testament
Uthai
A descendant of Judah who returned from the Babylonian exile to settle in Jerusalem.
Uthai is identified in 1 Chronicles 9:4 as a descendant of Perez, son of Judah, among the first group of Israelites to resettle in Jerusalem after the exile. He is also mentioned in Ezra 8:14 as a leader or representative of the descendants of Bigvai who returned to Jerusalem with Ezra. His presence highlights the genealogical continuity of the tribe of Judah during the post-exilic restoration.
