Old Testament
Abida
A son of Midian and grandson of Abraham through Keturah.
Abida is listed in the genealogies of Genesis 25:4 and 1 Chronicles 1:33 as one of the five sons of Midian. As a grandson of Abraham and Keturah, he represents one of the ancestral lines of the Midianite people. His inclusion in the biblical record serves to document the expansion of Abraham's descendants beyond the covenant line of Isaac.
