Ham
One of Noah's three sons who survived the Flood and became the ancestor of various nations.
Ham was a son of Noah who entered the ark with his family to escape the global flood. He is noted for his dishonorable conduct toward his father, which resulted in a prophetic curse upon his son Canaan. His descendants are listed in the Table of Nations, forming the ancestral lines of many peoples in the ancient Near East and Africa.
